Job Summary/Basic Function: |
Providing skilled, specialized assistance to faculty, staff, and students, the Cleanroom Education Coordinator plays a critical function in support of the Semiconductor Manufacturing Education program. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining training materials and courses, and is responsible for the preparation, delivery, grading, and records management of the courses listed for the program. The position will work closely with the Idaho Microfabrication Lab (IML) Director and faculty advisors on matters related to and for the benefit of the Engineering departments and its students. Much of the work day during class periods will be spent in a cleanroom environment while wearing a cleanroom garment suit from head to toe. |
Essential Functions: |

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: |
• Experience with cleanroom gowning, process chemistry, SOP writing, and troubleshooting skills. |
Minimum Qualifications: |
• Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
• Experience as a semiconductor technician or as a process integration engineer. • A minimum of five years of experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. |
Salary and Benefits: |
