Join a creative and innovative faculty in the Department of Educational Leadership, Research and Technology (ELRT) in the College of Education at Boise State University. We invite applications for a full-time position at the Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor rank focusing on educational leadership with interests in P-20 educational leadership. We are looking for a visionary colleague who will collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and deliver high-quality graduate programs that respond to a changing educational landscape. Our programs aim, through research, teaching, and service to our students, graduates, and partners to strengthen educational opportunities and outcomes for all students. We look to hire someone who will contribute to our philosophy of cultivating educational leaders dedicated to promoting innovation and socially equitable solutions for a variety of educational settings.
Key responsibilities for this role include teaching graduate courses, mentoring graduate students, coordinating the MEd in Educational Leadership and the Ed.S in Executive Educational Leadership, and actively participating in university and professional service activities. The successful candidate will join the faculty in the fall of 2025.

Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree in educational leadership or related field plus at least 3 years professional experience; PhD or EdD required for Associate Clinical Faculty Rank.

Demonstrated ability or potential to partner with schools, school districts, post-secondary institutions, and other educational agencies,

Experience or potential for effective teaching across face-to-face, online, and hybrid environments,

Experience or potential for recruiting and advising students, and
-
Experience as an educational administrator or leader at any educational level.
Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. or Ed.D. in educational leadership or a closely related field (Required for Clinical Associate Professor rank)

Expertise in systems-level change to improve the experiences of diverse P-12 and/or higher education faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders.

Experiences with integrated curriculum formats, and/or experiential learning,

Knowledge of national and state-level educational policies and systems, as well as current issues and trends in P-20,

Evidence of instructional leadership,

Evidence of scholarship related to P-20 educational leadership, education, improvement/development, and/or academic best practices,

Evidence of experience seeking and/or integrating feedback from community partners

Demonstrated experience working with graduate students,

Relevant certification(s) and/or license(s)

Salary and Benefits
Salary ranges from $63,000 - $68,000 (9-month contract)
Our standard faculty contract is a 9-month contract with pay and benefits spread over 12 months. This is a yearly, renewable contract unless noted that the position is temporary. More information about faculty contracts and work days is available here.
