Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for the coordination and implementation of transfer student recruitment, enrollment plans, and strategies designed to increase undergraduate transfer enrollment and student success. The Admissions Counselor role requires an experienced professional who is capable of working with a high level of autonomy to successfully expand Boise State’s recruitment efforts. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Up to 10% travel required. |

Level Scope: |
Fully competent and productive professional contributor who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees. |
Essential Functions: |
60 % of Recruitment & Admission, Counselor will: 30% of Time, the position will: |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: |
● Ability to understand, explain and make decisions based on transfer credit policies, articulation agreements, and admissions standard |
Minimum Qualifications: |
● Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
● Experience in student affairs, recruitment, advising, counseling, or retention preferred. |
Salary and Benefits: |
