Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The daily operation, maintenance, as well as experimental design and set-up, data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation. This position oversees and provides direction for technical support for labs. |
Department Overview: |
The Department of Biological Sciences provides hands-on lab experiences for a large number of students. This position will coordinate all lab prep of our teaching lab sections through the management of Lab Material Supervisor staff and the associated budget. The position will also serve the role of Building coordinator, and coordinate building projects that affect research and teaching spaces in the department. |

Independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; requires deep job knowledge of areas typically obtained through higher education combined with experience. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy. Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Master's of Science Biology Preferred |
Salary and Benefits: |
