The Science Communications Assistant is a 10-hour-a-week, remote/hybrid position that specializes in science storytelling and communications related to energy, water, and the environment. This role will report directly to the Research Communications Manager within the Boise State University Division of Research and Economic Development. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience for someone pursuing a career in science communications, marketing, or related fields. This position will also support the communications needs of Idaho's $24 million National Science Foundation EPSCoR RII project, Idaho Community-engaged Resilience for Energy-Water Systems (I-CREWS). Department Overview: |
The Division of Research and Economic Development provides comprehensive support for faculty during all phases of research endeavors, manages the university’s intellectual property portfolio, facilitates relationships with industry for research and commercialization collaboration, and leads outreach aimed at fostering economic development in Boise and the region. We are seeking a part-time science communications assistant to write and create NSF EPSCOR research-related content at Boise State University. |
