Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The Senior Advising Coordinator is the lead point of contact for admitted and enrolled students in the online program(s). Leads work focused on student success and advising within the online program(s). Also partners with staff from the Enrollment and Student Success team in Extended Studies and academic departments to create a cohesive, transparent experience for online students from the time of inquiry to graduation. |

Level Scope: |
Recognized subject matter expert who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field with limited oversight from managers. Independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; requires deep job knowledge of area typically obtained through higher education combined with experience. Manages large projects or processes and problems faced are difficult and often complex; analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy. Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures. |
Essential Functions: |
● Provide academic advising and support services for students enrolled in online program(s). |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: |
● Support and advise students through nuanced challenges that arise throughout the admission, onboarding, enrollment, and graduation cycles. |
Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree and 5 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
● Master’s degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college or university. |
Salary and Benefits: |
Salary of $61,006.40 annually and is commensurate with experience.
