Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The Assistant Director of Alumni Traditions and Community Engagement will serve as a key member of the Alumni Relations team for the Boise State Foundation with responsibilities for Alumni traditional events and programs, and will assist Sr. Director of Regional and Affinity Alumni Programs with local, regional and affinity-based events. The Assistant Director will serve as event coordinator for Boise State University Homecoming serving as Co-Chair on the Homecoming Steering Committee, and signature Bronco Bash home and away football events. The Assistant Director will also provide staff support for other traditional activities such as the Boise State Auction Gala and Distinguished Alumni Awards. This position will work closely with partners across the university and specifically with the Homecoming Steering Committee, Bronco Athletic Association and Boise State Athletics to deliver a continuous value proposition for alumni to support and extend the mission of Boise State University. |

A nonprofit Idaho organization, the Boise State University Foundation was established in 1964 for the benefit of Boise State University. We work to secure philanthropic support for the university by developing and nurturing relationships with our alumni and friends and stewarding gifts made to support Boise State. The Foundation works closely with university leadership, the Boise State University Alumni Association, and the Bronco Athletic Association.

Level Scope: |
Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of operational or technical employees. Sets and delegates day-to-day tasks to achieve operational objectives. A portion of time may be spent performing individual tasks related to the unit; however, supervisory activities must constitute a primary part of the job. Supervises unit operations to ensure compliance with departmental or campus policies, procedures, and defined internal controls. Problems typically involve a single area, process or constituent group. Ensures accountability and stewardship of campus resources (operational, financial, and human) in compliance with departmental standards and procedures. |

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. |

Salary and Benefits: |
