Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The Senior Coordinator for Parent and Family Engagement will plan and execute family orientation content and large scale family engagement events (including but not limited to Parent & Family Weekend). Additionally, they will coordinate and inform family communication, support family volunteerism, and build community partnerships. They will serve as a key collaborator with the Boise State University Foundation, working with the Director of Parent Giving to develop the family engagement landscape. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. |
Department Overview: |
Boise State New Student Programs helps acclimate students and their families to the college experience. The general functional areas of our department include creating and implementing orientation, transition and ongoing engagement programs for new students and their families. Our work ensures our new first year, transfer, non-traditional, and international students have a smooth and positive transition to the Boise State University community. |

Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience. |
