Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) Specialist for the ECLIPSE Project at Boise State University will deliver services to support the Providing Postsecondary Education and Raising Standards (PEERS) Program. The PEERS Program provides access to college for students with intellectual or developmental disabilities at Boise State University. Job training and career development activities to improve CIE outcomes are at the forefront. The CIE Specialist will work with PEERS Program and ECLIPSE personnel to develop and implement job training activities. |
Level Scope: |
Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or work team. Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making. This level is typically focused on self development. Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training. |

● Arrange and facilitate work internship placements.
● Other duties as assigned. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: |
● Experience delivering training and/or instruction to individuals with disabilities. |
Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
● Experience with programs that provide access to college for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. |
Salary and Benefits: |
