The Teaching, Learning, & Community Engagement Department (TLCE) in the College of Education at Boise State University is searching for a clinical faculty member with expertise and experience in clinical supervision and K-12 professional development. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for engaging in preservice teacher clinical supervision in K-12 schools, building school-university partnerships, and working with Extended Studies to develop and teach K-12 professional development courses for in-service teachers. We are especially interested in faculty who are committed to innovative teaching practices, build positive relationships with students and educational partners, and are flexible and adaptable. This position will be a temporary position at the Clinical Instructor level for no more than 2 years. Intended or ideal start in Fall 2025.

Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree (or Masters degree in progress) from an accredited institution in education or related field.
- Hold a valid teaching license
- Evidence of teaching experience with K-12 populations (minimum of 5 years of K-12 certified teaching experience in a US setting)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pre-service supervision, mentoring, or coaching connected to the Danielson Framework for teaching
- Experience, with the development and maintenance of school university partnerships
- Experience leading professional learning opportunities for pre-service or in-service teachers and/or administrators
- Experience teaching coursework at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels at a post-secondary institution
Salary and Benefits
Clinical Instructor positions offer a starting salary of $54,000 and are commensurate with experience.
