Boise State’s Housing and Residence Life team is seeking an Senior Business Operations Manager to lead the financial, administrative, and HR infrastructure that powers a dynamic, student-centered housing program. This is a high-impact leadership role for a collaborative and analytical professional ready to shape sustainable business models, guide operational teams, and steward complex budgets supporting over 3,000 residential students. Key Responsibilities: Lead and monitor multi-million-dollar housing budgets and long-term financial planning. Oversee financial forecasting, rate modeling, capital renewal budgeting, and occupancy planning. Supervise and mentor business operations staff while advancing HR processes and compliance. Analyze spending trends and advise on strategic resource allocation. Ensure seamless integration and functionality across housing systems (StarRez, PeopleSoft, Transact). Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with campus departments like HR, Payroll, and Finance. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in financial or operational management. A strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and HR processes. Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Experience with data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement strategies.
