Job Summary/Basic Function: |
Provides faculty development support in the area of writing across the disciplines, consults on effective pedagogy, assessment, and/or course design, and assists with implementing strategies for student success. This is an in-person position on the Boise State campus, although up to two remote work days per week are negotiable. The successful candidate must be, or be willing to move to, within commuting distance to Boise State. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. |

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is the nucleus of a university culture that values teaching and learning. CTL staff foster dialogue, scholarship, innovation, and excellence in learner-centered teaching, and promote teaching and scholarship that mutually enhance one another for the benefit of students, faculty, and the community. The CTL reports to the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies in the Provost’s Office. |

Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees. |

Salary and Benefits: |
