Welcome to an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Marketing at Boise State University. We are seeking a tenure-track faculty member who specializes in sales or digital marketing to help shape the future of our marketing programs and make meaningful impacts in academia and industry.

As our new colleague, you will contribute to the department’s mission by teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing with a primary focus on sales or digital marketing, publishing scholarly research in quality peer-reviewed journals, and serving on department, college, and/or university committees. For the first three academic years, your teaching load will be two courses per semester (2-2). You will receive summer research support for the first three academic years. Your standard teaching load will be three courses per semester (3-3) with possible reductions to 2-3 or 2-2 for research productivity. 

Department Overview:

Boise State's Marketing Department is housed in the AACSB-accredited College of Business and Economics. Our department offers Marketing Major (BBA) and Minor programs of study. Students majoring in marketing may choose emphasis areas in Brand and Product Marketing or Marketing Communications. Marketing courses, on average, enroll 34 students per course. Approximately 105 students per year graduate with a Marketing Major.

Minimum Qualifications:

Earned doctorate in marketing or related discipline awarded by an AACSB-accredited program on or before August 2024.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Evidence of commitment to excellence in teaching

  • Publication record demonstrating expertise and a clear research agenda in marketing

  • Professional business experience
